Remember when the west was wild, the women were soft and the men were brave? Well, think again ’cause the worst dust storm of the 1800’s is about to hit town and the men have all skedaddled!
Tensions flare and sparks fly when society ladies are forced to take refuge with fallen women in the only safe building in town, the saloon. Now a lone cowboy stumbes in; a mysterious stranger who may or may not have a secret of his own.
As of 2015, CAT will be presenting a Young Artist/Technical Scholarship each year. It must be applied for. The scholarship is open to students who maintain or have immediate family who maintain a principal residence in The City of Red Deer or Central Alberta Region up to and including the communities of Rocky Mountain House, Ponoka, Stettler and Olds. Candidates must be Canadian citizens or landed immigrants currently enrolled as full-time students in a recognized post-secondary institution. A family member or the applicant has to be an active member with Central Alberta Theatre and has volunteered for at least one show in the past year. Deadline is July 15th. The clash of intellect and wit takes the two from animosity and fear to friendship and understanding. Both come to their relationship with questions, hers dealing with her station in life and her handsome boyfriend and his about past life choices. Both leave with hopeful
answers, even after the boyfriend shows up.
