Some dogs chew up your shoes, your furniture, or your mail.
Meet SYLVIA, the dog who chews a big hole in a MARRIAGE!!!
If you caught her merry mischief 5 years ago, you’ll love her all over again! If you missed it then, for heaven’s sake, DON’T MISS IT THIS TIME!!! It’s an amazing experience.
Lucky for us, DEBBY ALLAN reprises her role as Sylvia, the dog who talks – saying just what your dog would if it could, thanks to the brilliant script by A.R. Gurney. (Sarah Jessica Parker played her on Broadway). Talking or not, Sylvia is all dog, getting on the furniture, peeing on the floor, attracted to visitors private parts, GOING INTO HEAT and so much more!!!
Debby is backed up this time by a whole new cast: CRAIG SCOTT and MARY COOK play Greg and Kate, the middle-aged New York couple whose life is thrown into chaos after angst-ridden Greg brings Sylvia, the stray dog home from Central Park. There’s a big, surprising change this time, thanks to GORD PHILLIPS. We won’t spoil the surprise for you but we will say, you will laugh yourself silly over it!!!!
We all need a pick-me-up after the hustle and bustle of Christmas and New Years. Why don’t you give yourself and/or your family and best friends a HUGE after-Christmas treat? Pick up the phone and call the Black Knight Inn ticket line at (403) 755-6626 and order your tickets now. Sylvia runs from January 16th to February 1st at City Centre Stage (the old Uptown Cinema on 49th Street in Red Deer), curtain up at 7:30 except for a 2PM matinee on Sunday the 19th of January.
